Layers Sextet

A collective of emerging young musicians who come together to create a project that marries tradition and avant-garde. This ensemble seeks to blur genre boundaries and create a space where contemporary jazz finds new textures and meanings.

Their repertoire includes original pieces by members of the sextet, as well as unique arrangements for the group.

The sextet features Álvaro Garrido on alto and soprano sax, Martí Cabarrocas on tenor sax and flute, Joan Mominó on trumpet and flugelhorn, Daniel Palací on piano, Jordi Herrera on double bass, and José Carlos González on drums.
