Taller de Músics and France’s Centre National de la Musique collaborate on a residency project with singer and pianist Sandra Cipolat between late June and early July 2025 in Barcelona.

Sandra Cipolat is a young and talented pianist who graduated from the jazz program at the Montpellier Conservatory. This residency will develop the second chapter of her triptych, which began with HUMAN. That work explored key human encounters through autobiographical songs. Her lyrics—committed and feminist—combine stories of love, joy, but also violence and rage.

ANIMAL, the second chapter, will maintain the same musical direction while exploring primal instincts and visceral emotions.

Both projects dialogue with each other while opening new repertoire spaces, blending soul, jazz, and experimental music into a new sonic identity.

The ensemble is led by Sandra Cipolat, performing vocals and keyboards. She is joined on stage by Abraham Lojo on guitar and Nicolás Andino, who contributes both as a beatmaker and trumpet player.
