Composed of seven students from Taller de Músics and led by acclaimed saxophonist Ramón Cardo, the group performs the works and arrangements of Charles Mingus, a musician known for his unique, distinctive, and visceral perspective rooted in the African American spirit.

This tribute aims to portray the passion, rage, and sarcasm that characterized this jazz musician and social critic.

Led by Ramon Cardo on alto sax, the group also includes Sergi Abaijón on tenor sax, Núria Puyuelo on baritone sax, Pol Garcia on trumpet, Jordi Sánchez on piano, Denys Hordovsky on guitar, Bruno Molina on electric bass, and Eudald López on drums.
